• Detective Conan Manga Gets a New Police Academy Spinoff

    The latest Weekly Shonen Sunday has confirmed Detective Conan is getting a new spinoff manga.

    The new spinoff is titled Meitantei Conan Keisaku Gakkou Hen Wild Police Story or Detective Conan Police School Edition Wild Police Story in English. The new manga is launching in Weekly Shonen Sunday 44 on October 2nd.


    The story is focused on Toru Amuro and will showcase the six months back when he was in the Police Academy. The first three chapters will cover the Jinpei Matsuda character arc. Detective Conan manga creator Aoyama is making the cover.

    The mainline Detective Conan manga has been on hiatus, but will return on November 27th.
