One Piece: Stampede Film English Dub Cast Revealed

Funimation have revealed the cast for their upcoming dub of the One Piece film, One Piece: Stampede.

The latest movie launched in Japan on August 9th, alongside the series 20th anniversary. It ranked #1 on it’s opening weekend, and was the largest first-day attendance at the Japanese box office in 2019 so far (selling over 350,000 tickets). The film has earned a cumulative total of over 5.3 million as of September 22nd.


The film will premier in North America on October 24th in Japanese with English subtitles. Subsequent screenings in this format will also occur on the 29th and 31st. English dub screenings will occur on October 26th and 30th.

For Canada, the film will feature in Japanese with English subtitles on October 25th and November 5th, and pure English on October 28th and November 8th. Advance tickets are available for sale now on Funimation’s website.

The cast includes many reprising their roles from the anime’s dub. With Cole Brown passing in 2016, Chris Rager will voice Whitebeard. The film’s ADR Director will be Mike McFarland, while Clint Bickham is the ADR scriptwriter.

Funimation gained the licencing rights to One Piece in June 2007. The series was originally broadcast in the west by 4Kids Entertainment from September 2004 to November 2005 when the show stopped broadcasting. It was criticized by fans due to its heavy censorship. 4Kids Entertainment becoming defunct in February 2017.
