Azur Lane TV Anime Gets Western Release

Funimation has announced they’ve licensed the TV anime for the wildly popular Azur Lane series.

The anthropomorphized anime girl warship anime has begun English subtitle streaming via Funimation, and will begin streaming its English dub on October 17th. The anime is available to stream in the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

The TV anime is based on the popular smartphone game developed by Chinese developers Shanghai Manjuu and Xiamen Yongshi, which originally released back in 2017.
