Kadokawa have announced [1, 2] that they will be producing the anime of Rui Tsukiyo’s manga Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi: Sokushi Mahou to Skill Copy no Choetsu Heal (Redo of Healer: Transcendental Healing of Instant Death Magic and Skill Copying).

Healer Keyaru suffers horrific abuse by the rest of his party- after all “Healing magicians cannot fight alone.” However, he discovers new and dark powers by achieving the “ultimate” healing magic. Using this new power, he goes back in time to enact revenge on those who abused him.

The light novel was originally published on user-publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Become a Novelist) in December 2016, with its print edition published by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko in July 2017. So far, its print run has exceeded 800,000 copies. It was later adapted into a manga by Sōken Haga in Kadokawa’s Young Ace Up in October 2017.

Confirmed staff so far include director Takuya Asaoka (Kandagawa Jet Girls), series composition and script writer Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), character designer Junji Goto (High School DxD), and anime production by TNK (High School DxD, School Days. They have also been involved with Kandagawa Jet Girls, Penguin Drum, and the Ikkitousen franchises).
