Voice Actor Tsubasa Yonaga to Limit Work Due to Dysphonia

Voice actor agency Ken Production have announced Tsubasa Yonaga will be limiting his work due to dysphonia (developing a hoarse voice).

Both Ken Production and Tsubasa himself revealed he was suffering from “voice issues” in late 2018, and on the advice of doctors has learned that he can continue work in a limited capacity. Currently announced productions and events will carry on “taking his physical condition into consideration.”

Ken Production also apologized for the sudden announcement on Monday, and requested “We would appreciate if you could refrain from contacting us about this matter. Both of us will aim for a complete return as soon as possible, so we look forward to your continued support.”

Tsubasa’s work includes Amuro-san in Mobile Suit Gundam-san, Nagisa Hazuki in Free!, Kyoya Saibara in Acchi Kocchi, and Aichi Sendu from Cardfight!! Vanguard; as well as characters in Log Horizon, One Piece, Sword Art Online, and Persona 4.
