Demon Slayer Manga Franchise Set to Achieve 40 Million Copies in Circulation

Demon Slayer

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will soon achieve 40 million copies produced across its entire manga franchise.

Comic Natalie reports (via Anime News Network) once the 19th compiled volume ships on February 4th, the Demon Slayer manga will have achieved 40 million copies of manga in circulation.

This includes the manga, compilation volumes, digital copies, and other publications- as noted by Anime News Network.

Back in late November 2019, we reported the franchise was set to achieve 25 million copies in circulation. Having blown past that in two months, it’s no wonder the franchise became Shueisha’s second best selling manga in 2019, rivaled only by the titanic One Piece.

The Demon Slayer: Infinity Train movie is also set to premiere in 2020.
