• Idol Land PriPara Mobile Game and Anime Announced

    A tie-in anime has been announced for the upcoming mobile game, both called Idol Land PriPara.

    Idol Land PriPara is the latest installment of the PriPara multimedia franchise. The franchise began with a rhythm arcade game, tie-in manga, and tie-in anime series which all premiered in July 2014.


    PriPara is short for “Prism Paradise”, the name of a magical world that all young girls are given a mysterious ticket to. In the world of PriPara, girls compete and train to become idols and polish their singing and dancing skills.

    The new anime adaptation intended to release with the new mobile game titled Idol Land PriPara was announced on Twitter.

    An official western release for Idol Land PuriPara has yet to be announced for either the game or the anime series.
