As reported by Comic Natalie, Tai-Ari deshita: Ojou-sama wa Kakutou Game Nante Shinai will be receiving an anime adaptation. The title is frequently translated by western fans as GGWP: Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games.
Tai-Ari deshita: Ojou-sama wa Kakutou Game Nante Shinai follows two young girls studying at a strict female-only boarding school. Playing video games is banned at the dormitories, to the point that the phones of students are confiscated every night.
Despite being against the rules, new transfer student Aya stumbled upon the school idol Shirayuri getting passionate in an empty classroom while playing fighting games. Shirayuri notices Aya watching her and the two begin a friendship as they hide their mutual hobby from fellow students and faculty.
