The second season of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid titled Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S will premiere this July.
The premiere date for the upcoming season was announced on the official Twitter page for the anime series. In addition, a new key visual was released confirming that the dragon Ilulu will be appearing in the new season.

Ilulu is a fellow member of the Chaos Faction which Tohru ostensibly still belongs to alongside Kimun, Damocles, and Fafnir.

“Miss Kobayashi is your average office worker who lives a boring life, alone in her small apartment–until she saves the life of a female dragon in distress. The dragon, named Tohru, has the ability to magically transform into an adorable human girl (albeit with horns and a long tail!), who will do anything to pay off her debt of gratitude, whether Miss Kobayashi likes it or not. With a very persistent and amorous dragon as a roommate, nothing comes easy, and Miss Kobayashi’s normal life is about to go off the deep end! “
The anime series began in 2017 from Kyoto Animation. Kyoto Animation’s other works include K-On!, Sound! Euphonium, and Myriad Colors Phantom World.
Back in 2019 Kyoto Animation was the target of a deadly arson attack. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S will be the studio’s first seasonal series since the attack.
