Bandai Namco Pictures has released a new PV for the upcoming series Cestvs: the Roman Fighter.
The series is based off the 1997 series of the same name by creator Shizuya Wazarai. The manga follows the story of the titular Cestvs (pronounced Cestus), an enslaved orphan who’s trained as a pugilist for gladiator fights.

Judging by the trailer, the series will make heavy use of 3D animation, particularly for fight scenes.
The series will premiere April 14th.
