Bandai is Making an Official Space Marine Figure

A while back, Games Workshop and Bandai announced a partnership to produce new Warhammer 40,000 collectables aimed primarily at the Japanese market. These include a Space Marine figure and a series of chibi gacha-style vinyl figurines, and now the former is available to preorder.

Warhammer‘s first fully poseable collectable figure is of a Primaris Intercessor from Games Workshop’s poster boys, the Ultramarines. The figure is 8″ tall, features over 50 points of articulation, and comes equipped with a bolt rifle and combat knife for $100.

This figure is a limited release, with only 9,000 being produced in the first wave of orders. The pre-order period will end in November, or once they sell all 9,000 preorders.

The figures will ship in Q2 2020, and once the first production wave is sold, the figure will only be produced in extremely limited quantities for select hobby shops.
