Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045Â season two is available now on Netflix.
Kodansha and Production I.G. announced the CG anime back in April 2017. Production I.G. USA president Maki Terashima-Furuta had previously announced Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed) would each direct one of the two 12 episode seasons. Both are also planning to co-direct Adult Swim’s Blade Runner – Black Lotus anime.

Other staff involved with Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 include Production I.G. and Sola Digital Arts as Producers, with Ilya Kuvshinov (The Wonderland) handling Character Designs.
The second season follows the events of the first which released back in 2020.
