Vocaloid and virtual idol Hatsune Miku is set to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, 2020.
Alongside acts such as Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott, and Frank Ocean, the official Coachella website [1, 2] confirms Hatsune Miku will perform on April 10th and 17th.
Spread across two weekends, the first weekend (April 10th to 12th) are already sold out. The second weekend (April 17th to 19th) has presale registration available now, ready for when presale begins on January 6th.
In addition, the Miku Expo 2020 Europe tour will start January 11th in London, with additional shows in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Barcelona up to January 28th.
Coachella has been held since 1999 (barring 2000), hosting a variety of music and art installations. The 2017 music festival (the 18th in the festival’s history) was host to 250,000 attendees [1, via Wikipedia]. The results of more recent events have not been publicized.
