Japanese Man Gets Handed 1,000 Yen to Give Up Bathroom Stall

This past week a Japanese man was handed something odd in a public bathroom.

He was going into a toilet stall in a public restroom, when a man tapped him on the shoulder. He turned to face the man, only to have a 1,000 yen bill (Roughly $10 USD) pressed against his chest. The man then bolted into the stall before him, while thanking the recipient profusely.

The man said that’s all that happened – however the man did profess a very deep version of thanks: ‘Thanks, I owe you with my life.’ The amusing exchange was caught on Twitter here and here.
