• Korean Webtoon The God of High School Receives Anime Series

    The anime for the Korean webtoon The God of High School is coming soon to Crunchyroll, according to the official Twitter for the show.

    The God of High School is a Korean webtoon that originally began on Naver in 2011 by Yongje Park. In 2014 the series began being translated in English on Webtoon, which is also owned by Naver. The new anime series will be a Crunchyroll Original [1] from animation studio MAPPA, and directed by Park Sunghoo.


    Mori Jin is a high school student and Taekwondo specialist. He joins a the eponymous “The God of High School” tournament, a martial arts competition where the ultimate winner will be granted their desire. However the tournament and it’s mysterious reward seem to have some greater mystery beneath the surface.
