Made in Abyss

The second season of dark fantasy adventure anime Made in Abyss has been announced for sometime in 2022.

The second season, which is subtitled The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, will feature the events of the prequel Ganja arc of the manga. The Ganja are outcasts, seeking to find The Golden City of the Abyss. Their quest will push them to their extremes to survive.
