New Key Visual For Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal Part 1 Movie; Premieres January 8

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal

Toei Animation has released a new key visual for the first part of the upcoming Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal movie.

The movie is part of the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal franchise, which is the 2014 reboot of the original series. The 2014 series is considered to be an anime series that’s more faithful to the manga than the original 1990s series.

The new key visual features Usagi Tsukino, the titular Sailor Moon with her back to a mirror. The mirror holds the image of Queen Nehellenia, the Queen of the Dead Moon and leader of the Dead Moon Circus.

The new key visual was released on the official Twitter account for the movie and can be found below.

The film was originally intended to premiere September 11th of this year but was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The first part of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal will premiere January 8th, with the second part premiering February 11th.
