Pokemon: Twilight Wings Episode 8 Available Now in Japanese, English Dub Premieres November 17

Pokemon: Twilight Wings Expansion

The surprise eighth episode of Pokemon: Twilight Wings, The Gathering of Stars, has been uploaded to YouTube in Japanese, with the English dub coming later.

Produced by Studio Colorido, this episode focuses on former Champion Leon, meeting up with his old master Mustard. After some light training, Leon concocts a plan to bring a spectacle to the Galar Region.

The episode features scenes and characters from the Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield expansions; The Isle of Armor, and The Crown Tundra. However, at this time of writing, the episode is only available in Japanese.

While most episodes had both their English and Japanese dubs uploaded at the same time, a similar scenario happened with Episode 4. It was later revealed that Episode 5 postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the subsequent quarantine orders, it is likely this is what delayed Episode 4’s English dub, and possible the new episode.

The English Pokemon Twitter account has confirmed the dub episode will premiere on November 17th, along with its English Dub episode name.

The series ran on a separate continuity from the current anime, with each episode being uploaded monthly. You can view the prior episodes here [123456, 7].

Pokémon: Twilight Wings, which is separate from Pokémon the Series, is set in the Galar region, where Pokémon battles have developed into a cultural sensation. Over the span of seven episodes, Pokémon: Twilight Wings will show in detail the dreams of Galar’s residents, the realities they face, the challenges they must overcome, and the conflicts they must resolve. In addition to these new stories, you can expect to see a variety of Pokémon originally discovered in the Galar region appearing throughout the capsule series.
