The anime series She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man will premiere in January as part of the Winter 2022 anime season.

Beginning as a light novel series in 2014, She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man is an isekai series that follows Sakimori Kagami, a well known player of the VRMMO Arch Earth Online. In the game, Kagami plays the summoner Dunbalf, and is known as one of the “Nine Sages”.

After playing around with a recustomization item and making his character a young girl, he’s transported into the world of Arch Earth Online. Kagami isn’t alone as other players have been sent to this world also.

Due to the unfortunate timing of being sent to this world while playing with his character’s appearance, Kagami has no choice but to pretend to be Dunbalf’s young apprentice as he looks for a way to get back to his world.
