Sorcerous Stabber Orphen Light Novel Gets First New Volume in 4 Years

The official website for the television anime of Sorcerous Stabber Orphen has revealed the light novel series is getting a new volume.

Yoshinobu Akita’s classic series is getting its first new volume in four years, on December 25th. The new title for the light novel is Sorcerous Stabber Orphen Komikuron’s Plan.

Akita is writing the novel, while Yuuya Kusaka is handling illustrations. The new volume will celebrate the series’ 25th anniversary, and will connect the “pre-arc” story, where Orphen had his days as a student, and the first novel.

Furthermore, an anthology for the light novels will launch on November 30th, where industry legend Ryo Mizuno will provide commentary, and Kusaka is handling illustrations once again.

The first anime season was cool, but the 2nd one was a real piece of unfunny, boring, cringe—fest shit.
