The anime adaptation of the light novel and manga series The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt will premiere on January 11th as part of the Winter 2022 anime season.
The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt follows a young prince whose father the king has become bedridden and he the de facto ruler of his small kingdom. The prince is talented, beloved, and with a good nature with only flaw. He’s eager to be rid of his responsibilities and betray his own kingdom for a leisurely life.
With the kingdom under his control, the prince does his best to try and create situations where he can “sell” his nation as a vassal state to the greater empire neighboring his own kingdom. However his schemes and plots end up backfiring and he places his nation in an even stronger position with each and every attempt he makes.
