    The upcoming anime series The Tale of the Outcasts will premiere on January 8 as part of the Winter 2023 anime season.

    The series follows Wisteria, a young girl living in the British Empire (or rather a fictionalized version of it) where men and human-like beasts live. Wisteria meets an immortal furry-like creature named Marbas and together the two look for a place to call home. You can check out the latest trailer here.

    The Tale of the Outcasts is the breakout original work of creator Makoto Hoshino whose past work includes chapters in spinoff anthology books for franchises such as Fate/Grand Order. The manga is released in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.
